Prev: Sintra
Porto was the main thing I originally wanted to see in Portugal - mostly because I knew about their nice bridge. But it has a lot more to offer than just that.
I accidentally booked a guesthouse on the most famous street in Porto, that was a fun surprise.
First thing was to go to the river to see the bridge of course, and it is glorious.

The area around the bridge is always bustling - the bridge itself full of people walking across and just hanging out. Occasionally a metro train passes through and everyone has to get out of the way.
The next day I had remote work, but on a lunch walk I spotted something I didn’t know they also had in Porto..

A tram! Work would have to wait.
The tramline takes you out along the river to the sea.
On the way back, I could finally get some nicer views of the historic center.

The next day was also spent near the center.
Having a bit more fun with the camera.

I was in search of tall places - bridges, cathedrals, and the central tower - were all climbed today.

Sketches
I was able to find an artist in Porto doing sketches
Porto revolves around it’s historic center, with the river and the bridge.
