The capital of Iceland is in the southwest of the island. From there you have easy access to the Golden Circle.
Since I didn’t really take many pictures of the city, since I just wanted to get to the mountains and quickly drove through it, here’s a bunch of the Hallgrimskirkja - the Icelandic style cathedral.

The city felt more like a small town on the ocean.

Since I only had 4 days, I stuck to the southwest region of the country where the Golden Circle is.
On the drive to Fimmvorduhals, there were a couple stops - first at Seljalandsfoss.
