Loch Lomond is a huge lake at the base of the highlands.
From the small town of Balloch, we went to Conic Hill to get some views of the loch.

We found some sheep and cows to chase around.
Took a ferry across.
When looking down the long lake, you could finally get a glimpse of the highlands in the distance.
Loch Lomond is so serene. I see why it is so well known.
After the lake, I would continue alone up to Glencoe and into the highlands.
