Glencoe was a random stopover choice on my way up to the Isle.
It’s a tiny town in the highlands. After getting off the bus, I saw a oddly round looking mountain that I immediately decided was my next destination. It is called the Pap of Glencoe.
After grabbing a pizza from the only restaurant in town, it was up to the top.
I got my first taste of Scottish mountains here - more barren than what I’m used to.

On the way down, I found something completely unexpected - but would become a theme.
Hagrid’s hut. The exact place where they filmed it in the harry potter movies is in the woods in Glencoe apparently.

I enjoyed finding that spot. There would be more things to find the next day in Glenfinnan & Mallaig.
