Lucern is very pretty, built along the mouth of a river.
The buildings are uniquely white and brown.

I didn’t have much time here, but it is clearly one of the more aesthetic cities around.
I did spend some time at the markets trying some different foods.
Money
I appreciate the design of swiss franks - technology. Not some guys face. I’m not a believer in the “Great Man” paradigm of history. The swiss seem pretty aware in general.
I was excited for the next part of the journey - back to an Italian region of Lugano & Locarno.
